Matson is a leading U.S. ocean carrier and logistics company serving Hawaii, Alaska, Guam and the Pacific, with vessel and terminal operations.
We are hiring a Terminal Operations Superintendent in Honolulu, HI. In this role you will oversee terminal vessel and cargo operations, and contribute to our team’s quality and success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Oversee terminal vessel and cargo operations
- Supervise longshore/stevedore teams and planning
- Ensure safety, throughput, and compliance
- Coordinate vessel loading and discharge
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Terminal, stevedoring, or port operations experience
- Supervisory and planning ability
- Knowledge of safety and labor practices
- Strong organization and communication
COMPENSATION
Estimated market range $70,000 to $110,000/year (about $34 to $53/hour), depending on experience.
