CREW & CO – SUPERYACHT CREW RECRUITMENT ETO / 2ND–3RD ENGINEER AV/IT SPECIALIST Yacht: 70m+ Private Motor Yacht Programme: Private / Caribbean & USA Salary: $DOE Leave: 60 Days Annual Leave Start Date: ASAP Current Location : Caribbean POSITION OVERVIEW: Crew & Co are seeking a motivated ETO/Engineer with strong AV/IT capabilities to join a well-established 70m+ private motor yacht currently cruising the Caribbean. This position is better suited to a hands-on Second or Third Engineer with strong ETO and AV/IT knowledge, rather than someone looking for a standalone ETO role. The successful candidate will be actively involved across the wider engineering department while taking responsibility for supporting the yacht’s AV, IT, communications and electronic systems. The yacht will spend the summer cruising the US Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos and the Bahamas before heading to the East Coast of the United States for its five-year survey and refit during October and November. This is the yacht’s first season operating in the United States, having previously followed a predominantly single-season programme. The owner enjoys using the yacht regularly, although plans can be flexible and may change at short notice. Candidates should therefore be adaptable and comfortable working within a fluid private programme. The owners are described as genuinely lovely people who have developed close relationships with the crew and value seeing familiar faces onboard. The yacht has an excellent record of crew retention, with several Heads of Department having remained onboard since the build. The crew is diverse and multinational, with a hardworking, down-to-earth culture and a strong sense of team. There is also an excellent crew gym with high-quality equipment onboard. Training support may be provided to crew members who demonstrate commitment, strong performance and a genuine desire to progress. This is a long-term, permanent opportunity for a younger, ambitious Engineer who wants to become fully involved in the programme, contribute to the wider department and develop alongside an experienced team.
