CREW & CO – SUPERYACHT CREW RECRUITMENT   DECKHAND   Yacht: 70m+ Motoryacht Programme: Private | World Cruising Salary: DOE Contract: 3:1 Start Date: 3-4 weeks Gender: Male or Female   POSITION OVERVIEW:   Crew & Co is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deckhand to join a highly regarded 70m+ private yacht operating an extensive world-cruising programme.   The yacht operates an active and adventurous programme, cruising remote destinations where diving, watersports and outdoor activities form a significant part of both guest and crew life.   This is a permanent position offering an excellent 3:1 rotation, a strong benefits package and genuine incentives for long-term commitment. It would suit a capable Deckhand looking to become part of an established team and build longevity within an exciting expedition programme.   THE ROLE: Working as part of an experienced deck team, the successful candidate will support the daily operation, maintenance and presentation of the yacht’s exterior.   Responsibilities will include general deck maintenance, detailing, tender operations, anchoring and mooring, water-toy operations and supporting active guest trips.   While the yacht is not specifically looking for a Dive Instructor, additional diving qualifications would be highly beneficial due to the itinerary and the interests of the owners, guests and crew. A Rescue Diver qualification or above would be particularly advantageous.   The successful candidate should be confident, adaptable and able to contribute across both traditional deck responsibilities and an active guest programme.   THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Personable, friendly and naturally outgoing Professional, well-presented and guest-focused Active and genuinely enthusiastic about an outdoors-focused lifestyle Confident integrating into an established, close-knit crew Reliable, hardworking and attentive to detail Comfortable taking direction while also using initiative Interested in diving, watersports and adventurous travel Looking for a long-term position within a stable programme A positive individual who contributes to crew morale both professionally and socially RESPONSIBILITIES: Supporting daily deck operations and exterior maintenance Maintaining consistently high standards of presentation and detailing Assisting with anchoring, mooring and line-handling operations Launching, recovering and maintaining tenders and water toys Supporting tender operations and guest excursions Assisting with diving and watersports activities where appropriately qualified Completing assigned maintenance projects safely and efficiently Maintaining professionalism and discretion around owners and guests Contributing positively to the existing deck team and wider crew REQUIREMENTS: Previous professional Deckhand experience onboard larger yachts Proven longevity within previous roles Strong general deck, maintenance and detailing skills Tender-driving experience Good, verifiable references Valid STCW and ENG1 Appropriate passport and visas for worldwide travel Diving qualifications are highly advantageous, ideally Rescue Diver or above Watersports experience would be beneficial Male or female candidates considered APPLY: If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please apply with your most recent CV and confirm your current location, availability, relevant visas and diving qualifications.   Alternatively, please contact Crew & Co for further information.   Due to the high volume of applications received, only candidates who closely match the outlined profile and requirements will be contacted.
