CREW & CO – SUPERYACHT CREW RECRUITMENT DECKHAND / WATERSPORTS INSTRUCTOR Yacht: 100m+ Motoryacht Programme: Private Salary: DOE Leave: 3:1 Start Date: ASAP / End of September 2026 Location: Worldwide POSITION OVERVIEW: Crew & Co is delighted to present a rare opportunity for an experienced Deckhand to join a prestigious 100m+ private motor yacht operating an extensive world-cruising programme. This is a modern, highly active vessel offering genuine global travel, ocean crossings and off-the-beaten-track itineraries. Watersports form a major part of the programme, with considerable investment placed into professional instruction, specialist equipment and developing crew members with unique sporting backgrounds. This is an exceptional opportunity for an adventurous and watersports-focused Deckhand looking to join a highly regarded programme with outstanding travel and development potential. THE ROLE: Working within an experienced deck team, you will assist with the daily operation, maintenance and presentation of the yacht’s exterior. Alongside general deck responsibilities, you will be actively involved in guest watersports, equipment preparation, water-toy operations and maintaining the highest possible safety standards. The successful candidate should be comfortable with extensive worldwide travel, ocean crossings and operating in more remote cruising destinations. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Previous deck experience aboard large yachts. Genuinely passionate about watersports and active guest programmes. Additional watersports experience or a professional sporting background would be highly advantageous. Confident supporting tender, water-toy and guest operations. Adaptable and comfortable with worldwide cruising and extended crossings. Hardworking, safety-conscious and attentive to detail. Positive, active and enthusiastic about continued learning. Works well within a diverse and highly skilled team. Looking for an exciting long-term opportunity within a prestigious private programme. REQUIREMENTS: All valid yachting documents, including STCW and ENG1. Relevant previous deck experience (1+ year direct industry experience) Yacht Rating (minimum) Yacht Master (ideally) Valid passport and appropriate visas for worldwide travel. B1B2 visa (ideally) Watersports qualifications or specialist skills are advantageous. Diving qualifications would be a bonus. Available to join ASAP or at the end of September.
