About the Role
We are hiring a Foundry Operator to support pre-casting and post-casting production work in a manufacturing environment.
This role is well suited for someone who works safely, adapts quickly across tasks, and takes ownership of producing quality
work in a hands-on setting.
Core Responsibilities
• Load and unload parts for the pouring process and support pre-casting and post-casting production activities
• Operate equipment and machinery used to prepare propellers for the next stage of production, including post-casting
tools and finishing equipment
• Read and follow work instructions, daily schedules, and required paperwork accurately
• Inspect parts for anomalies and escalate items that require quality review
• Rotate across assigned processes and complete work area housekeeping tasks, including 5S responsibilities
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures consistently
Required Skills & Abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based production environment
• Comfort moving between tasks and equipment as production needs change
• Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining quality and pace
• Basic math, reasoning, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read gauges, temperature indicators, and alarms
Other Requirements
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle parts weighing 40+ pounds up to shoulder height
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures
• Starting pay is $19.50 per hour, with growth potential based on experience
• Attendance incentives available up to $160 per two-week period
