Join OSM Thome as Fitter on a worldwide trading chemical tanker. You will work closely with the engine and deck teams to keep all equipment, pipelines and structures in safe and reliable condition.

• Key responsibilities:
• Carry out steel repairs, fabrication and welding jobs as instructed
• Maintain and repair pipelines, valves, supports and ship structures
• Assist with maintenance of engine room and deck machinery
• Prepare materials, tools and work areas for repair and maintenance jobs
• Follow safety procedures and permit-to-work systems at all times
• Support cargo and bunkering operations when required

• Requirements:
• Experience as Fitter on tankers, preferably chemical tankers
• Strong skills in welding, cutting and metal fabrication
• Good knowledge of engine room and deck fittings and systems
• Valid STCW documents and tanker certificates as per rank
• Good English communication and ability to work in a mixed crew
• Medically fit and ready for worldwide trading
