Work Arrangement: Why Join Crowley: Responsibilities What You'll Do: Responsible for providing frontline support to customers within Customer Operations, assisting with booking-related requests and customer care inquiries while applying training in live operational environments. This role focuses on building foundational productivity, quality, and service behaviors, maintaining accuracy during high-volume transactional work, and supporting daily operational completion goals. Success in this role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage repetitive processes while contributing positively to the team and customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Handle customer requests related to bookings and customer care inquiries across assigned channels, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established operational guidelines. Perform high-volume data entry tasks with precision while maintaining focus during repetitive processes. Adapt to fluctuating work volumes and assignments to meet daily completion expectations. Proactively communicate potential operational challenges internally and escalate risks impacting customer experience when needed. Follow up on customer requests until completion, coordinating with internal teams as required and using available communication channels effectively, prioritizing phone interactions when appropriate and email as a secondary option. Support coordination of tasks related to cargo delivery and documentation processes under guidance. Verify information submitted by customers to ensure documentation and bill of lading processes flow according to standards. Receive, reconcile, and consolidate documentation and information from customers. Correct errors, identify basic process improvement opportunities, and support value-added services delivery. Identify customer needs to support satisfaction and relationship building. Assist with customer inquiries and complaints within established guidelines to ensure resolution and satisfaction. Support onboarding activities and service offerings as directed. Inform leadership of situations that may impact service delivery, cargo movement, or customer satisfaction. Completion of all customer requests received during business hours is expected. During peak seasons or high-volume periods, additional time may occasionally be required to meet daily operational commitments Qualifications Education & Credentials: High school diploma or equivalent, with course work after high school and job-related training preferred. Experience: 0 - 1 years of general office experience, with 6-month experience in transportation industry preferred. COMPETENCIES: Demonstrates adaptability and drive to support the team until daily volumes are completed. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and focus during repetitive tasks. Strong attention to detail and developing typing proficiency. Commitment to quality and continuous improvement by correcting errors and addressing knowledge gaps promptly. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, leadership, and customers, and to set appropriate expectations. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to deliver consistent service experiences. Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
