Rank: 4th Engineer / Junior Engineer · Vessel: Tanker - Oil/Chemical

Set sail as 4th Engineer / Junior Engineer on our Oil/Chemical Tanker fleet and grow your seagoing career with OSM Thome. Work with an experienced engine team, learn modern tanker operations, and build solid hands-on skills worldwide.

Key responsibilities:
Assist in safe and efficient operation of main engine and auxiliary machinery
Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs in the engine room
Monitor engine room parameters and report any irregularities
Support bunkering operations and cargo-related engine room duties
Follow safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and environmental rules
Keep engine room, workshops, and stores clean, tidy, and well organized

Requirements:
Valid 4th Engineer / Junior Engineer CoC (STCW compliant)
Tanker (Oil/Chemical) experience or tanker familiarization preferred
Valid STCW basic and advanced certificates as required for tanker service
Good English communication skills
Medically fit for sea service
Safety-minded, willing to learn, and able to work well in a multinational team
