Job Description
We’re seeking the right team member to load and unload materials in the stockroom. Are you ready to put your organizational skills to work in a team-oriented environment?
This team member will read work orders and unload/load materials from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves. This person will move materials to designated work areas using a hand truck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow, forklift, or other devices. This person will help tag and label materials to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance. This person will occasionally operate a forklift.
In addition to traditional stockroom responsibilities, this position plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations through accurate inventory transactions, shipping and receiving activities, and effective communication with Customer Service, Purchasing, Operations, and Production personnel. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities and material requirements frequently change. Experience utilizing ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management software is strongly preferred.
Qualifications
• 1+ years related experience is preferred, including prior forklift experience.
• Ability to regularly Lift/Push/Pull weights of 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to climb in a safe manner.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Proven experience in a stockroom, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control environment, preferably in a manufacturing setting, is highly preferred.
• Experience utilizing ERP, inventory management, warehouse management, or shipping and receiving software systems is required. Experience with Sage Pro or similar legacy ERP systems is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, inventory transactions, material control procedures, and cycle counting practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Duties
• Maintain an organized stockroom with accurate inventory levels.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure materials are available for production.
• Receive incoming shipments of materials and supplies.
• Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of received items.
• Process receiving, inventory, and material transactions accurately within the company's ERP and inventory management systems.
• Document and report any discrepancies or damages.
• Fulfill internal requests for materials and supplies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and pack materials for distribution to various production areas.
• Coordinate with production teams to understand material requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, transactions, and material movement.
• Input and maintain data within the inventory management system while ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Customer Service, Operations, and Production teams to coordinate material flow and support changing business requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and internal customers to address stockroom, inventory, shipping, and receiving issues.
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies through research, investigation, and collaboration with other departments.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including documentation, verification, and reconciliation of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Assist in the implementation of best practices for stockroom operations, inventory accuracy, and material control.

- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements include eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, protective suits, dusts masks and respirators.
- The employee is regularly required to be on their feet; occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Constant use of hands/hand tools for assembly, fine manipulation, inspecting parts, and/or machine operating. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Employees must be able to work a 10-hour shift or more in one workday, including planned and unplanned overtime.
- Exhibits ability to work cautiously but efficiently in potentially hazardous conditions.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be moderate to loud and is non-climate controlled.
