Work Arrangement: Why Join Crowley: Responsibilities What You'll Do: Responsible for the supervision of complex tasks related to preventive and corrective maintenance on the company equipment fleet, such as inspection damage, fit-up, preparation, repair, parts requests, and welding. Key Responsibilities: Perform inspections and repairs all container parts (dry equipment, reefer equipment, gensets & van). Inspection and repair all chassis parts and proper replacement of its components such as tires, brakes, lights, landing gear and other structural members. Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of power equipment such as Forklift, Top Loader, Power Packs, Yard Trucks and other related equipment. Qualifications Education & Credentials: High school diploma or equivalent, with course work after high school and job-related training, a technician diploma in mechanics, electricity or welder is preferred. Experience: 5-years proven experience as welder and mechanic or similar position. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint. Other: Bilingual (English/Spanish). Availability to work irregular hours, holidays & weekends if necessary is required. Valid driver’s license for heavy equipment. Working Conditions: Works outside in conditions of both hot and cold temperatures and may be exposed to odors, dust, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment and materials. Ability to bend, reach, lift and carry up to 50-75 lbs. frequently. Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch and climb. Ability to sit for extended periods while driving. What We Offer?
