Ordinary Seaman (OS) – Tanker (Oil/Chemical)

Description
Ordinary Seaman needed for Oil/Chemical Tanker trading worldwide under Liberian flag. Joining port: Houston.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist deck officers and Bosun in daily deck operations
- Carry out mooring/unmooring and anchoring duties
- Handle mooring lines, fenders, and gangway watch
- Perform deck maintenance, chipping, painting, and cleaning
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge as required
- Assist with cargo operations as directed, following safety procedures
- Follow company safety policies and permit-to-work systems

Requirements
- Experience: 0 years accepted
- Valid Ordinary Seaman seaman’s book and related documents
- Valid Basic Safety Training (STCW)
- Tanker (Oil/Chemical) familiarization/endorsements as per STCW
- Valid medical fitness certificate (seafarer standard)
- Valid US visa (required for Houston embarkation)
- Able to communicate in English for shipboard operations and safety
