Rank: Fitter (FTR) · Vessel: Offshore - Dredger

Join OSM Thome as Fitter on an offshore dredger, trading worldwide. We are looking for a hands-on, safety-minded seafarer who can keep hull, deck and machinery steelwork in good, reliable condition.

Key responsibilities:
Carry out welding, cutting, grinding and fabrication jobs on deck and in engine room
Perform hull, piping, structure and equipment repairs as instructed by Chief Engineer
Assist engine crew with maintenance and overhauls when required
Maintain tools, welding machines and workshop in safe working order
Follow onboard safety procedures and permit-to-work system at all times

Requirements:
Experience as Fitter at sea, preferably on offshore/dredger or similar vessels
Strong welding and fabrication skills (arc, gas cutting, basic machining)
Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for worldwide service
Good English for work and safety communication
Team player with a practical, problem-solving attitude
