Join OSM Thome as a Fitter onboard a modern car carrier trading worldwide. Work closely with the engine and deck teams to keep the vessel, equipment, and systems in safe and reliable condition.

• Key responsibilities:
• Carry out steel repair, cutting, and welding jobs as instructed
• Maintain and repair pipes, brackets, foundations, and ship structures
• Assist engine crew with maintenance of machinery and engine room equipment
• Prepare, use, and maintain workshop tools and welding equipment safely
• Follow safety procedures and permit-to-work systems at all times

• Requirements:
• Previous experience as Fitter onboard seagoing vessels, preferably car carriers or similar
• Strong skills in welding, gas cutting, grinding, and basic machining
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
• Good English communication skills
• Team player with a strong safety mindset and willingness to work worldwide
