OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 3rd Engineer for a worldwide trading chemical tanker. You will be part of a professional engine team, keeping the vessel’s machinery safe, efficient and ready for trade.

Key responsibilities:
Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries and engine room systems
Carry out planned maintenance, repairs and daily checks as assigned by 2/E and C/E
Monitor engine room parameters and report any abnormalities
Ensure safe engine room practices and compliance with company and international regulations
Assist with bunkering operations and fuel/lubricant management
Complete engine room logs, records and maintenance reports

Requirements:
Valid 2nd Engineer CoC suitable for chemical tanker operations
Previous experience on tankers, preferably chemical tankers
Experience with ME engines
Valid STCW basic and advanced tanker certificates
Good English communication skills
Fit for duty with valid medical and necessary travel documents
