Rank: Electro Technical Officer (ETO) · Vessel: Tanker - Oil/Chemical

Join OSM Thome as an Electro Technical Officer (ETO) on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems onboard, supporting smooth cargo and vessel operations.

Key responsibilities:
Maintain and repair all electrical, electronic, and automation equipment
Monitor and troubleshoot power generation and distribution systems
Ensure safe operation of navigation, communication, and cargo control systems
Carry out planned maintenance according to PMS and maker’s instructions
Assist bridge and engine teams during cargo operations and critical maneuvers
Keep accurate records, reports, and spare parts inventory

Requirements:
Valid ETO CoC and all mandatory STCW certificates
Experience as ETO on oil/chemical tankers
Strong knowledge of marine electrical and automation systems
Good command of English, spoken and written
Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
Team player with a strong safety and compliance mindset
