Wanchese Marina is a charter-fleet marina on the Outer Banks in Wanchese, NC, home to a busy sportfishing fleet and the Landing Grill. We hire friendly, hard-working crew who love being on the water.
Great job if you love being outside! As Dock Help you'll keep the docks clean, empty trash, fuel boats, help captains with ice and bait, move fish from the boats to the fish house, and pitch in wherever needed. Full-time and part-time available.

We are hiring a Dock Help in Wanchese, NC. In this role you will launch, retrieve, fuel, and clean the fleet, and contribute to our team’s quality and success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Launch, retrieve, fuel, and clean the fleet
- Assist members and guests at the dock
- Perform light maintenance and keep the marina shipshape
- Provide friendly, safety-first service on the water
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Comfort on and around boats
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Able to work outdoors, lift, and handle lines
- Boating experience a plus; we will train
COMPENSATION
Estimated market range $32,000 to $50,000/year (about $15 to $24/hour), depending on experience.
