SUMMARY:
Crew & Co are seeking a positive, personable and enthusiastic Deck/Stew to join an incredible 50m Private M/Y based on the West Coast of America, with a South America cruising itinerary in the pipeline.
The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit, family orientated team where crew culture is a fundamental part of their programme. The position will suit someone who enjoys a dual-role, working across both deck and interior.
The position would suit someone who has worked as a Deck/Stew previously, or has come from a boating background and has a solid understanding for maritime safety, basic deck operations and watersports. An interest in helping with interior duties is just as important, so any interior experience or a background in hospitality is advantageous.
We are looking for someone who is truly a water-sports enthusiast; someone who genuinely wants to participate in crew activities such as diving, surfing, fishing and fitness activities.
This is not a junior role, therefore please do not apply unless you have at least 6 months (1 season’s) experience.
REQUIREMENTS:- Minimum of 6 months direct onboard experience.
- Foundation in Deck and Interior operations.
- Powerboat Level 2
- PWC ideally
- B1B2 Visa
- All valid documents (STCW, ENG1, Passport etc)
- Female (due to cabins)
