This is a rare opportunity to become part of an established, highly professional deck team renowned for its exceptional camaraderie, strong leadership and outstanding crew retention. Many of the current deck crew have remained onboard since the vessel’s build, demonstrating the quality of the programme and the investment made into its people. Operating a fascinating worldwide cruising itinerary, the yacht is currently exploring an off the beaten track itinerary, providing exceptional opportunities for the crew both professionally and personally. With a supportive management structure and a well-established operational programme, this role offers one of the industry’s best opportunities for an ambitious deckhand seeking stability, progression and genuine longevity. THE ROLE: Working as part of an experienced deck department, you will be responsible for maintaining the yacht to an exceptional standard while supporting all deck operations, guest activities and watersports. The programme offers an excellent balance between busy owner trips and valuable downtime, providing an exciting yet sustainable working environment. Whilst the standards onboard are exceptionally high, the culture is equally important, with the yacht placing significant emphasis on teamwork, professionalism and maintaining a positive crew environment. The successful candidate will join a highly experienced deck team with opportunities to further develop specialist skills whilst working alongside knowledgeable senior crew who actively support career progression. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Minimum 1-2 years’ experience onboard large motor yachts. Demonstrates strong longevity throughout their yachting career. Excellent yachting etiquette and professional standards. Hardworking, proactive and takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards. Someone who thrives within a close-knit, team-focused environment. Calm, reliable and professional during busy owner operations. Sailing experience would be advantageous. Varnish experience highly desirable. Diving and/or carpentry experience would be considered a bonus. Looking for a genuine long-term opportunity within a respected programme. REQUIREMENTS: All valid yachting certificates (STCW, ENG1 etc.) Minimum 1-2 years’ experience onboard large yachts. Fluent English speaker. Male candidate (due to cabin arrangements).
