OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Chief Cook to serve onboard LPG/Ethylene Tankers trading worldwide. You will be responsible for planning and preparing daily meals for officers and crew, keeping a clean and safe galley, and managing all food stores with care and efficiency.

• Key responsibilities:
• Plan and cook three daily meals and snacks for all crew and officers
• Prepare varied, nutritious menus suitable for multinational crews
• Keep galley, pantry, messrooms and equipment clean and in good order
• Manage provisions, stock rotation and correct food storage
• Monitor hygiene, sanitation and safe food handling at all times
• Assist with victualling planning and cost control as per company guidelines

• Requirements:
• Previous experience as Chief Cook, preferably on Tankers or gas carriers
• Good knowledge of maritime galley operations and food safety standards
• Ability to work independently and manage time and stores effectively
• Good communication in English and ability to work with multinational crew
• Candidate must have valid STCW including SID and SRB
• Must have experience in Indian, European, Asian nationality.
• Must be experienced Cook
• Prefers with valid BTLGT
• Prefers with valid US Visa
