Rank: 2nd Officer (2/O) · Vessel: Offshore - Multipurpose

Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer on an offshore multipurpose vessel trading worldwide. You will support safe navigation, cargo / deck operations, and day-to-day bridge routines as part of a professional and experienced team.

Key responsibilities:
Stand bridge watch and ensure safe navigation at all times
Assist Master and Chief Officer with passage planning and ship handling
Maintain charts, publications, and navigational equipment up to date
Assist with cargo, deck and offshore operations as required
Ensure compliance with company procedures, SMS, and international regulations
Take part in safety drills, inspections, and toolbox talks

Requirements:
Valid STCW 2nd Officer / OOW CoC, compliant with IMO standards
Experience as 2/O or OOW, preferably on offshore or multipurpose vessels
Valid STCW basic and advanced safety courses, medical certificate, and seaman’s documents
Good English communication skills, spoken and written
Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a multinational crew
