We are hiring a Welder (Coast Guard Yard) in Baltimore, MD. In this role you will fabricate and weld aluminum and stainless marine components, and contribute to our team’s quality and success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Fabricate and weld aluminum and stainless marine components
- Read prints and lay out, cut, and fit assemblies
- Weld to marine-grade quality and inspect welds
- Maintain a safe, organized fabrication area
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Aluminum and/or stainless welding experience (MIG/TIG)
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Marine or structural fabrication background preferred
- Able to pass a weld test
COMPENSATION
Estimated market range $52,000 to $75,000/year (about $25 to $36/hour), depending on experience.
