Pacific Power Group (MSHS) provides marine diesel propulsion sales and service across the West Coast from Kent, WA. Hiring a Journey-Level Propulsion Systems Technician for diesel/propulsion service and repair. Journey-level marine diesel experience required.
We are hiring a Technician, Propulsion Systems (Journey) in Kent, WA. In this role you will diagnose, service, and repair boats, engines, and systems, and contribute to our team’s quality and success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Diagnose, service, and repair boats, engines, and systems
- Perform scheduled maintenance, repowers, and rigging
- Road/water test and verify repairs
- Document service work and parts accurately
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Marine technician/mechanic experience (outboard or inboard)
- Manufacturer certifications (Yamaha, Mercury, etc.) a plus
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver license; own basic tools preferred
COMPENSATION
Estimated market range $46,000 to $80,000/year (about $22 to $38/hour), depending on experience.
