Responsibilities What You'll Do: Responsible for planning and directing operations of a terminal facility which may include trailer fleet, yard, vehicle and gate operations. Key Responsibilities: Responsible to provide information in advance, as vessel arrival notice in 72, 48, 24, 12, 6 hours before the ship’s arrival to the terminal operator OPC in PTZ. Upload vessel information in advance at portal 72 hours before the vessel’ arrival. Send BAPLIE of vessel discharge to OPC. Send load list to the vessel Captain in order to provide the vessel stowage plan. Send loading stow plan to OPC. Revise the discharge list sent by documentation department FS versus the BAPLIE in order to find any discrepancies. Send the Hazardous Material & reefers manifest to the vessel. Coordinate the Vessel’s Clearance with Port Authority during the vessel discharge & loading at port. Keep close communication with vessel Chief Officer to ensure an efficient and safe vessel operation. Create Vessel operation reports as Final Report after finishing the cargo operations including KPI. Update CICS and keep VP10 updated. Send BAPLIE of loading to the next port and to USA Custom to avoid penalties. Update SOFT1 with times provided by vessel’s Master. Revise vessel operational reports from OPC and match with our final report to match information and find discrepancies. Check invoices from OPC related to the vessel operation to be sure they are charging correctly. Keep good control to avoid storage of empty equipment at the terminal of OPC. Qualifications Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree or a related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education. Experience: 1-3 years’ experience in yard or vessel operations. Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word. Other: Bilingual (English/Spanish). Working Conditions: Works both inside and office environment and outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders. May require extended use of computer keyboard, viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time. What We Offer?
