Take the lead in managing and maintaining the vessel's engineering operations. We are seeking an experienced maritime engineering professional to support the Chief Engineer in overseeing all technical departments, ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations, and maintaining the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chief Engineer with the day-to-day management of the Engineering Department.
• Supervise and coordinate all engineering personnel, including 2nd and 3rd Engineers, Mechanics, Fitters, Wipers, Cadets, and technical support staff.
• Oversee planned maintenance, repairs, inspections, and technical operations throughout the vessel.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, ISM requirements, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Monitor machinery performance, fuel consumption, and equipment reliability.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Electrical, HVAC, and Facilities teams.
• Manage technical stores, spare parts inventory, and engineering documentation.
• Support dry dock preparations, shipyard projects, and emergency repair activities.
• Act as the Chief Engineer's deputy and assume full responsibility for the Engineering Department when required.

Requirements:

• Chief Engineer License.
• Valid STCW certification and Advanced Fire Fighting training.
• Strong technical knowledge of marine engineering systems and vessel operations.
• Proven leadership and team management experience in a senior engineering role.
• Ability to plan maintenance projects, prioritize tasks, and solve technical issues independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong command of English.
• Professional attitude, sound judgment, and commitment to safety and compliance.
