About this role
Overview Performs cargo bookings, import/export documentation, and moderately complex sales and service activities. Ensures customer satisfaction and retention while adhering to operational policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Coordinate cargo delivery activities and maintain accurate shipment and documentation records. Review and process bills of lading, apply tariffs, and ensure timely and accurate invoicing. Partner with pricing teams to ensure correct rate setup at booking stage. Consolidate customer information and prepare/analyze reports on bookings and documentation. Handle complex customer inquiries and resolve issues to maintain satisfaction. Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend value‑added services. Build customer relationships, support onboarding, and promote service offerings. Escalate issues that could impact service delivery or customer experience. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in transportation/logistics; experience in booking, customer service, or documentation preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Knowledge of import/export processes, customs brokerage, and transportation regulations.
