OVERVIEW
Transocean is a leading offshore drilling contractor operating deepwater and harsh-environment drilling rigs. Roles are on offshore rigs in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico on rotation; offshore safety certs (HUET/BOSIET) and a TWIC are typically required.
We are hiring a Roustabout (Additional Crew) in Offshore - Gulf of Mexico. In this role you will perform general deck and drill-floor labor on offshore rigs, and contribute to our team’s quality and success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Perform general deck and drill-floor labor on offshore rigs
- Handle rigging, materials, and housekeeping
- Assist the crew with maintenance and operations
- Follow strict offshore safety procedures
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Entry-level offshore role; mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to work offshore rotations
- Ability to pass offshore physical and safety training (HUET/BOSIET)
- TWIC and strong work ethic
COMPENSATION
Estimated market range $45,000 to $68,000/year (about $22 to $33/hour), depending on experience.
