OVERVIEW
Hornbeck Offshore operates a fleet of new-generation offshore supply and multi-purpose support vessels serving the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, based in Covington, LA. Mariner roles require a USCG MMC with endorsements and a TWIC; rotations are typically 28/14.
We are hiring a Qualified Member of the Engine Department (QMED) in Offshore - Gulf of Mexico. In this role you will support engine-room operations and maintenance, and contribute to our team’s quality and success.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support engine-room operations and maintenance
- Operate and monitor machinery and systems
- Assist engineers with repairs and transfers
- Maintain logs and follow safety procedures

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- QMED endorsement on a valid MMC
- Engine-room experience aboard vessels
- TWIC and required certs
- Able to work offshore rotations

COMPENSATION
Estimated market range $62,000 to $90,000/year (about $30 to $43/hour), depending on experience.
