Performs service and repair tasks on boats utilizing various power and hand-tools, regularly beating budget and schedule. Ability to install complete electronic systems and troubleshoot complex electronic problems. Works independently to complete assignments. Lay out, install, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify marine navigational, communication, and entertainment systems in the production of boats. Provides expert technical instruction and problem-solving support to electronics technicians, trains lower level technicians and may check their work for accuracy.
