Medical Assistant

Edison Chouest Offshore is now taking applications for a full-time Medical Assistant. FUNCTIONS Take and record patient history and personal information. Measure vital signs. Answer telephone and schedule appointments. Check in patients and prepare them for appointments with the physician/provider. Collect drug screens, perform EKGs, spirometry testing and hearing testing. REQUIREMENTS Certified medical assistant Ability to clearly communicate medical information and perform job duties in a professional, courteous and confidential manner Spanish speaking skills preferred but not required.
