Derecktor Shipyards builds and refits yachts and vessels at its Mamaroneck, NY and Dania Beach, FL yards. Hiring a Marine Plumber/Pipefitter to install and repair piping and plumbing systems aboard vessels. Marine pipefitting experience preferred.
We are hiring a Marine Plumber/Pipefitter in Mamaroneck, NY. In this role you will perform the duties of the role to a high standard of quality and safety, and contribute to our team’s quality and success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Perform the duties of the role to a high standard of quality and safety
- Follow procedures, prints, and specifications
- Collaborate with the team to meet production and service schedules
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

- Relevant experience for this role preferred; we will train motivated candidates
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
- Able to follow instructions and safety requirements
- Comfortable working in a marine/manufacturing environment
COMPENSATION
Estimated market range $40,000 to $62,000/year (about $19 to $30/hour), depending on experience.
