Svendsen's Bay Marine is a full-service boatyard in Richmond, CA. Hiring a Marine Painter/Fiberglass Technician for surface prep, paint and fiberglass repair. Marine finishing experience preferred.
We are hiring a Marine Painter / Fiberglass Technician in Richmond, CA. In this role you will diagnose, service, and repair boats, engines, and systems, and contribute to our team’s quality and success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Diagnose, service, and repair boats, engines, and systems
- Perform scheduled maintenance, repowers, and rigging
- Road/water test and verify repairs
- Document service work and parts accurately
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Marine technician/mechanic experience (outboard or inboard)
- Manufacturer certifications (Yamaha, Mercury, etc.) a plus
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver license; own basic tools preferred
COMPENSATION
Estimated market range $46,000 to $80,000/year (about $22 to $38/hour), depending on experience.
