To qualify at the GS- 11 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Experience conducting marine inspections for regulatory compliance. Experience evaluating vessel systems and equipment for deficiencies. Experience preparing inspection findings and corrective recommendations. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related To qualify at the GS- 12 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the federal sector. Experience conducting marine inspections and examinations to determine compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and safety reuirements. Experience evaluating vessel systems, equipment, and operations to identify deficiencies and determine appropriate corrective actions. Experience preparing inspection findings, reports , and recommendations to provide technical guidance regarding marine safety or regulatory requirements.
