Derecktor Shipyards builds and refits yachts and vessels at its Mamaroneck, NY and Dania Beach, FL yards. Hiring a Machinist (CNC & manual) for marine component machining. Machining experience required.
We are hiring a Machinist (CNC & Manual) in Mamaroneck, NY. In this role you will set up and operate CNC and/or manual machining equipment, and contribute to our team’s quality and success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Set up and operate CNC and/or manual machining equipment
- Read prints and hold close tolerances
- Select tooling and verify parts with precision instruments
- Perform routine machine maintenance
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- CNC and/or manual machining experience
- Ability to read prints and use measuring instruments
- Solid shop math; G-code familiarity a plus
- Attention to detail and quality
COMPENSATION
Estimated market range $46,000 to $72,000/year (about $22 to $35/hour), depending on experience.
