OVERVIEW
Harken, Inc. — the employee-owned (ESOP) global leader in sailboat deck hardware, blocks, winches and hydraulics, headquartered in Pewaukee, WI — is hiring a 2nd Shift Machine Setup. $1,000 sign-on bonus. Full-time, non-exempt.
What you'll do:
• Set up, check programs for, operate and adjust CNC machining equipment to meet close-tolerance and finish requirements
• Follow detailed part drawings, specifications, coding and settings; note and report variations
• Recommend tooling arrangements, fixtures and operation sequences; assist with program prove-out
• Instruct lower-classification Machine Operators and use a variety of precision measuring instruments
What you'll bring:
• General machine-shop knowledge and operation, typically up to 2 years of experience or equivalent
• Comfort with Microsoft Office and shop math (fractions and decimals across units of measure)
• Ability to stand on concrete up to 4 hours at a time and lift 50 lbs unassisted

COMPENSATION
Estimated market range $46,000 to $72,000/year (about $22 to $35/hour), depending on experience.
