Machine Condition Monitoring Technician

Responsibilities Perform remote monitoring of marine and industrial equipment such as marine diesel engines, reduction gears, hydraulic systems, propulsion and steering systems Analyze data from remote machine monitoring programs to identify patterns, trends and anomalies that may impact equipment efficiency and safety Use programs developed to apply statistical models to predict failures and optimize equipment maintenance Make recommendations for maintenance and operations teams Assist vessel crew with diagnosing machinery failures Minimum Requirements Knowledge of offshore vessel machinery Basic computer skills Basic electrical systems knowledge Excellent communication skills Attention to details and advanced analytical skills Preferred Requirements Knowledge of Caterpillar Marine Engines Diagnostic tools Knowledge of marine and/or industrial machinery Knowledge of machine lubrication standards The Edison Chouest Offshore family of companies is committed to ensuring all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or any other characteristic protected by law with regard to any employment practices.
