Responsibilities of Logistics & Compliance Analyst can include:
- Execution of the company’s import and export compliance programs, including:
- Tariff classification of product for both import and export purposes
- Support and maintain Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operation and compliance program
- Prepare and compile reports for submission to various federal agencies
- Conduct internal audits to ensure that the company is in compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations
- Support of the company’s CTPAT program; including overall supply chain risk analysis
- Analysis of parts and finished goods for free trade agreement eligibility (USMCA, etc.)
- Analyze requirements, procedures and problems to identify improvement opportunities
- Communicate with all levels of the organization, freight companies, customs brokers, government agencies, and suppliers to maintain a reliable supply chain
- Review and analyze trends and anomalies that can be used to identify supply chain improvements and communicate information to appropriate individuals and entities, both internal and external
- Plan and/or conduct projects related to cost or compliance improvements
- Assist other departments with shipping or receiving transactions
Qualifications for Logistics & Compliance Analyst:
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics, international logistics, and/or supply chain operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or equivalent experience in transportation, supply chain, and/or import/export operations
- Ability to display appropriate proficiency with computers and computer applications
- Familiarity with CTPAT or Foreign Trade Zones is preferred
