OVERVIEW
Skeeter Boats (a Yamaha company) builds high-performance bass and bay boats in Kilgore, TX.
We are hiring a Laminator B in Kilgore, TX. In this role you will perform fiberglass hand layup, lamination, and composite work, and contribute to our team’s quality and success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Perform fiberglass hand layup, lamination, and composite work
- Mix and apply resin; set up vacuum bagging/infusion as needed
- Grind, trim, and prep parts for secondary bonding
- Meet quality, finish, and tolerance standards
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Fiberglass/composites experience preferred
- Comfortable with resins, PPE, and a respirator
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Able to lift ~50 lbs and stand for full shifts
COMPENSATION
Estimated market range $38,000 to $60,000/year (about $18 to $29/hour), depending on experience.
