Work Arrangement: Onsite What You'll Do: Responsible for coordinating all sales, marketing, and operations activities for a business unit. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Oversees development of policies and procedures. Reviews operating results to ensure budgeted goals are achieved and expenses controlled. Establishes annual revenue, capital and cost budgets. Has profit and loss responsibility. May coordinate and negotiate outside contractor and service provider alliances/agreements, may operate in multiple locations and/or foreign locations, and may interface/coordinate with other company functions such a legal, labor relations, risk management, marine operations, cross functional teams etc. Develops and maintains business relations with customer base. Qualifications Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in business, transportation or a related field; or a combination of post-high school and equal experience may be substituted for education. MBA preferred. Experience: 10+ years business management experience in related maritime area. May require international business experience. Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. Competencies: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external business partners. Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop change or alternatives. Ability to prepare, monitor and administer budgets, as well as the ability to perform financial analysis. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Ability to indirectly mentor, coach, train and/or supervise employees. Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope. Ability to identify and/or document existing and new trend, as well as evaluate and predict their impact on the organization. Ability to provide subject matter expertise, counsel, and effectively influence others at various levels within the organization. Knowledge of and ability to conduct need, trend, feasibility and performance assessments. Knowledge of and ability to apply the concepts, principles and practices of change management. What We Offer?
