Gelcoat Repair Technicians perform high-quality repairs and finishing work on fiberglass surfaces, particularly gelcoat damage. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with gelcoat application, color matching, sanding, and polishing, ensuring finished products meet quality and aesthetic standards. We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for long-term growth. Job Duties: Visually spot imperfections in all parts. Repair the gel coat imperfections in all parts, using buffers, DA’s, pencil grinders etc. Work in a fast-paced environment. Non-skid and fiberglass repair. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Past bodywork experience is necessary, marine is preferable but not necessary. Gelcoat experience a must. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work order instructions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in an open air and covered non-climate-controlled environment. Ability to work in dusty environment and follow PPE guidelines including use of eye protection, gloves and respirators as required. Ability to work overtime when required. Ability to work within strict deadlines to meet shipment schedules.
