About this role

Rank: Gas Engineer · Vessel: Tanker - LPG - Ethylene

Join OSM Thome as Gas Engineer on our LPG/Ethylene tankers trading worldwide. You will work closely with the deck and engine teams to ensure safe and efficient cargo operations and reliquefaction plant performance.

Key responsibilities:

Operate and monitor cargo and reliquefaction systems for LPG/Ethylene
Plan and carry out maintenance and repairs on gas plant and related equipment
Ensure safe cargo handling in line with company and international regulations
Troubleshoot gas plant issues and support engine team as needed
Keep accurate logs, records and reports for cargo and gas plant operations

Requirements:

Valid STCW Gas Engineer / relevant engineering CoC for gas tankers
Experience on LPG and/or Ethylene carriers in a similar role
Good knowledge of cargo handling, reliquefaction and IG systems
Strong safety awareness and understanding of ISM/ISPS procedures
Good English communication skills and teamwork attitude
Candidate must be experienced Gas Engineer in LPG/LNG vessel
Prefers with valid Schengen and US visa
