Join OSM Thome as Gas Engineer on LNG tankers trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional shipboard team, ensuring safe and efficient operation of the cargo and gas systems.

Key Responsibilities

Operate, monitor and maintain LNG cargo, gas and reliquefaction systems
Carry out routine inspections, troubleshooting and repairs on gas equipment
Ensure safe cargo handling, cooling down, loading, discharging and gas freeing operations
Keep accurate records, logs and reports related to cargo and gas plant performance
Follow company and international safety procedures and environmental standards
Support the deck and engine teams in all gas-related operations and training

Requirements

Previous experience as Gas Engineer on LNG or other gas tankers
Valid STCW certificates and all documents required for service on gas carriers
Strong knowledge of LNG cargo handling systems and gas plant operations
Good command of English, spoken and written
Strong safety mindset, teamwork attitude and willingness to work worldwide
