We are eagerly seeking a Facility & HSE Manager to lead our facility maintenance and organization's health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance programs.

This role ensures the reliability and efficiency of facility infrastructure, maintains compliance with applicable regulations, and promotes a safe, sustainable, and productive manufacturing environment that supports operational excellence and the long-term performance of facility assets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Facilities Management
- Lead facility operations, maintenance, utilities, infrastructure, and support systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for facility assets and building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, utilities, security, and fire protection.
- Plan, budget, and manage capital improvement projects, facility modifications, and infrastructure upgrades from concept through implementation.
- Provide technical support to improve manufacturing processes, facility performance, equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Maintain facility documentation, permits, records, CAD layouts, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Manage facility budgets, contractors, vendors, and project resources to ensure quality, safety, and cost-effective execution.
- Evaluate facility conditions, identify improvement opportunities, and support strategic growth and expansion initiatives.
- Maintain and improve company maintenance software to support preventative maintenance, asset reliability, and operational efficiency.
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Lead safety culture initiatives through employee engagement, training, hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action programs.
- Manage environmental compliance activities, including permits, reporting, hazardous materials, waste management, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate in administration of workers' compensation, injury prevention, return-to-work programs, emergency response planning, fire prevention, and safety committee activities.
- Monitor HSE performance metrics, maintain required records, and coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Enforce HSE standards and intervene when unsafe conditions or behaviors are observed.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Lead and develop Facilities and HSE personnel while establishing departmental goals, objectives, and performance metrics.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Human Resources to support business objectives and operational excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root-cause problem-solving methodologies.
- Serve as the site subject matter expert for facility operations, engineering projects, and HSE compliance.
- Manage customer, corporate, insurance, and regulatory audits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Technology, Facilities Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing facilities, engineering, maintenance, and/or HSE leadership.
- Experience managing maintenance programs, capital projects, budgets, contractors, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, environmental regulations, and safety management systems.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional certifications such as CPE, CFM, CSP, or related credentials preferred.
KNOWELEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Knowledge of facility infrastructure, utilities, building systems, manufacturing processes, maintenance best practices, and equipment reliability.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
- Proficiency with CAD, CMMS, EHS systems, Microsoft Office, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
