OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to work on board a bulk carrier trading worldwide. If you are a hands-on electrician with solid sea experience, good fault-finding skills, and a safety-first mindset, we invite you to explore this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and repair all electrical and electronic equipment on board
Carry out troubleshooting on power generation, distribution, and control systems
Maintain navigation and communication systems together with bridge team
Support engine and deck departments with electrical and automation issues
Ensure safe work practices and compliance with company and class requirements
Keep proper records, reports, and maintenance logs

Requirements

Valid Electro Technical Officer (ETO) license and relevant STCW certificates
Previous sea service as ETO, preferably on bulk carriers
Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic, and automation systems
Good level of English, spoken and written
Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
Team player with a proactive and safety-conscious attitude
