Position Summary

  • Coordinate and execute daily cross-border trucking operations across Vietnam–Cambodia, Vietnam–China, and Vietnam–Laos corridors.

  • Ensure shipments are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with operational, customs, and customer requirements.

  • Act as the day-to-day coordination point for vendors, customs brokers, customers, and internal teams, with strong focus on execution discipline, issue resolution, cost accuracy, and service reliability in a 24/7 logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Execution

  • Coordinate end-to-end cross-border trucking operations, including dispatch, border crossing, customs coordination, delivery, and proof of delivery follow-up.

  • Monitor daily operational dashboards, shipment milestones, and transport updates to identify risks, deviations, and service failures early.

  • Track on-time performance, service quality, and shipment status across all assigned cross-border corridors.

  • Support short-term capacity planning for trucks, trailers, drivers, and other transport resources based on forecast and daily demand.

2. Vendor & Pricing Support

  • Coordinate daily execution with trucking vendors and cross-border partners

  • Track vendor performance — OTP, utilization, cost, responsiveness

  • Validate vendor SOA, debit notes, and operational charges to support accurate cost control and timely payment processing.

  • Support pricing analysis and cost input validation for new opportunities, growth business, and corridor reviews.

3. Exception Management

  • Handle operational exceptions — border congestion, customs delays, equipment shortages, disputes

  • Escalate complex issues to the Cross-Border Transport Manager with root cause and recommended actions

  • Support corrective and preventive action implementation

4. Customs & Compliance

  • Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely clearance

  • Ensure accuracy of all key documentation — invoices, packing lists, permits, POB/POD

  • Maintain compliance with local and cross-border regulations

5. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as operational point of contact for customers and internal teams (Sales, CX, Finance, Procurement)

  • Provide regular shipment updates, performance reporting, and issue resolution

  • Support key account operations to maintain service continuity

Critical Competencies

  • At least 03 years' professional working experience at similar role(s) in Import - Export Operation, especially in Cross-border Trucking Operation Services

  • Transport Management Certificate is a plus

  • Direct experience in VN–Cambodia / VN–China trade lane is a big plus

  • Language proficiency: native Vietnamese level AND fluent English level AND fluent Chinese level

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management / Transportation or similar major(s)

  • Exposure to pricing analysis

  • Strong problem-solving and coordination skills

  • Solid knowledge of cross-border regulations and customs procedures

  • Analytical capability — Excel, reporting, KPI tracking

  • Comfortable in high-volume, 24/7 operations

  • TMS / logistics systems experience is a plus
