About this role
Overview Coordinates cargo bookings and import/export documentation in accordance with Customer Operations policies and regulatory requirements. Supports cargo booking, customer care, and documentation activities. Responsibilities Coordinate cargo delivery activities and maintain records of cargo to be manifested and cleared. Verify documentation and bill of lading information to ensure processes follow established standards. Review and apply applicable tariff rates to bills of lading accurately and on time. Ensure bills of lading are completed, invoiced, and compliant with applicable rules and regulations. Partner with Pricing to ensure rate requests and verifications are correctly processed at booking. Receive, reconcile, and consolidate customer documents and information. Prepare and analyze cargo booking and import/export documentation reports. Resolve errors, recommend process improvements, develop leads, and deliver value-added services. Handle complex customer inquiries and complaints while providing appropriate solutions. Support customer onboarding and promote Crowley service offerings and online service products. Report situations that could affect service, cargo delivery, or customer satisfaction. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of post-high-school education and experience. 3+ years of related experience in the transportation or logistics industry. Previous experience in booking, customer service, documentation, or bill of lading revisions preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred. Knowledge of import forwarding, customs brokerage, U.S. transportation, DOT regulations, and import/export regulations. Strong communication, customer service, organization, data reporting, teamwork, and project-management skills
