Cobalt KS Waxer

Job Title: Waxer

Department:  Mold Preparation

Reports To: Department Supervisor

FLSA Status: Hourly

Summary Responsible for the application of wax and/or cleaners, and tape in accordance with established wax procedures and schedule for gelcoat production.    

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply high energy, self-motivation, and initiative to learn and be trained on various types of equipment and processes.
• Ability to use high-speed pneumatic power tools (i.e., DA sander) and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Complete required documentation of finished parts for production purposes.
• Daily job duties will be varied and dynamic.
• Workload will be tracked via daily schedules and assignments requiring responsibility and accountability for quality and timeliness of completion.
• Ability to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced, noisy environment while wearing all required PPE (including eye, steel toe shoes, hearing, etc.).
• Practice good housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
