Rank: Chief Officer (C/O) · Vessel: Tanker - Oil/Chemical

OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Chief Officer for oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. If you are a hands-on leader with strong cargo and deck experience, we want you onboard.

Key responsibilities:
Assist the Master in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel
Plan and supervise all deck and cargo operations, including loading, discharging and tank cleaning
Ensure compliance with ISM, vetting, company and industry standards
Lead and train deck crew, ensuring safe working practices at all times
Monitor stability, ballast operations and cargo condition
Maintain deck, cargo gear and safety equipment in good order

Requirements:
Valid Chief Officer (Unlimited) license
Recent experience as C/O on oil/chemical tankers
Valid STCW certificates and tanker endorsements (oil/chemical)
Strong cargo handling and ship stability knowledge
Good command of spoken and written English
Strong safety mindset and proven leadership skills
