About this role

Rank: Chief Officer (C/O) · Vessel: Tanker - Oil/Chemical

Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on worldwide trading oil/chemical tankers. You will be a key part of the vessel’s command team, supporting safe and efficient cargo and deck operations.

Key responsibilities:
Assist the Master in overall vessel management and navigation
Plan and supervise cargo loading, discharging and tank cleaning
Lead and organize deck crew for daily operations and maintenance
Ensure safe operation and compliance with ISM, ISPS and company procedures
Oversee stability, ballast and draft during all stages of the voyage

Requirements:
Valid Chief Officer license (STCW II/2) for tanker vessels
Sea service experience as C/O or 2/O on oil/chemical tankers
Valid tanker endorsements (oil/chemical) and STCW certificates
Good English communication skills
Strong safety mindset and proven leadership skills on deck
3Y experience in rank
