Rank: Chief Officer (C/O) · Vessel: Tanker - Chemical

Set sail as Chief Officer on a chemical tanker with OSM Thome and take a leading role in safe and efficient vessel operations worldwide. If you are a hands-on deck officer with strong leadership and chemical tanker experience, this could be your next step.

Key responsibilities:
Assist the Master in overall ship management and navigation
Plan and supervise cargo operations for chemical cargoes
Lead and manage the deck crew in daily work and maintenance
Ensure safe working practices and compliance with regulations
Maintain stability, loading plans, and deck documentation
Oversee deck equipment, safety gear, and emergency drills

Requirements:
Valid Chief Officer license (unlimited) with STCW certificates up to date
Recent experience as C/O on chemical tankers
Strong knowledge of chemical cargo handling and safety procedures
Good command of English, spoken and written
Fit for duty with valid medical certificates
Strong leadership, teamwork, and safety mindset
