OVERVIEW
Hornbeck Offshore operates a fleet of new-generation offshore supply and multi-purpose support vessels serving the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, based in Covington, LA. Mariner roles require a USCG MMC with endorsements and a TWIC; rotations are typically 28/14.
We are hiring a Chief Mate in Offshore - Gulf of Mexico. In this role you will stand navigation/DP watches and oversee deck operations, and contribute to our team’s quality and success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Stand navigation/DP watches and oversee deck operations
- Plan and execute safe maneuvers and cargo ops
- Supervise deck crew and maintenance
- Maintain logs and safety compliance
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- USCG Mate license (2nd/3rd/Chief as applicable)
- DP/SDPO experience a plus
- Valid MMC, TWIC, and required certs
- Able to work offshore rotations
COMPENSATION
Estimated market range $90,000 to $140,000/year (about $43 to $67/hour), depending on experience.
